Using EB interop you are basically using the VBA interface. You can find some examples in help file "c:\Program Files (x86)\Aucotec\Engineering Base xxx\Help\EngineeringBaseVBA.chm" Especially for creating new child objects have a look on topic "NewChild Method (ObjectItem)"

There are no connection parameters (yet?). At the moment only way is to modify registry values HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Aucotec\Engineering Base\6.x.x\Client\Database\Application Server and HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Aucotec\Engineering Base\6.x.x\Client\Database\DatabaseName before connection creating instance of Aucotec.EngineeringBase.Interop.Application

Hello, It depends on what EngineeringBase.Interop.dll you reference in the solution. If you reference DLL from Bin folder of some older EB version, then this older EB version will be used even if the newer one is installed in parallel. Otakar MIlink
