Setting tree-node in SelectObjectDialog.ShowDialog

I wanted to ask if it is possible in the selection dialog
SelectObjectDialog.ShowDialog code to expand the tree for the selected node?

I also wanted to ask if the call to the ShowDialog method can open with the previous expanded tree with the last selected node? The SelectedObject property remains set from the previous opening correctly, but after the ShowDialog method is called, the dialog opens according to the StartObject property setting, without the expanded tree to the last selected node.
